Dr Isaac Koomson

Dr Isaac Koomson is a Senior Research Fellow at The University of Queensland’s Centre for the Business and Economics of Health (CBEH). He also serves as a Faculty Director with the Centre for Social Development at the Brown School in Washington University in St. Louis, United States. Additionally, he serves as a guest lecturer in Quantitative Research Methods at the University of North Carolina and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States. His current research lies in the areas of health and development economics and cuts across societal healthcare issues such as child health (i.e., nutrition), healthcare utilisation, out-of-pocket health expenditure, and mental health. He has worked as a consultant for organisations such as the World Bank, the United Nations, and other policy-oriented research institutes on projects related to tackling global community challenges, including disease outbreak resilience, poverty, vulnerability, food insecurity, and energy poverty.
Dr Sara Eyaa

Dr. Sarah Eyaa is a distinguished academic with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, thesis supervision, and curriculum development across the fields of business, management, leadership, higher education, and interdisciplinary studies. She currently serves as the Head of the School of Business and Head of Research (Graduate Programs) at Excelsia University College in Australia, where she provides strategic academic leadership and governance oversight for business, management, and research programs. Prior to her current role, Dr. Eyaa held a senior academic position at Makerere University Business School in Uganda, where she served as Head of the Department of Procurement and Logistics Management. Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing), a Master of Business Administration (Procurement), a PhD in Management, and a Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply. Dr. Eyaa’s research interests are broad and interdisciplinary, encompassing supply chain management, higher education, leadership and governance, organisational behaviour, sustainability, operations management, public procurement, indigenous knowledge systems, strategic management, marketing, and the humanities and social sciences. Her career reflects a deep commitment to advancing academic excellence, fostering mentorship, and promoting inclusive, globally relevant scholarship across diverse cultural and institutional contexts.
